2. Definitions

• “We”, “us”, “our” — Affordable Airfares UK
• “You”, “your” — the person making an enquiry or booking
• “Supplier” — the airline, tour operator, or travel provider through whom your booking is arranged
• “Booking” — a confirmed reservation for flights or a flight-inclusive package, for which payment has been taken

3. Our Role

We act solely as an agent. When you make a booking through us:

• Your contract for the flight or package is with the airline or supplier, not with Affordable Airfares UK.
• We facilitate the search, comparison, and booking process on your behalf.
• The supplier’s own terms and conditions apply to your booking in addition to these terms.
• We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or defaults of any airline or supplier.

4. Enquiries

Submitting an enquiry through our website, WhatsApp, phone, or email does not constitute a booking and creates no financial obligation. Quotes provided are subject to availability and fare conditions at the time of booking.

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 hours during operating hours (Monday–Sunday, 09:00–21:00 GMT).

5. Bookings and Payment

A booking is confirmed only when:

1. You have accepted the quoted price and travel details.
2. Full payment (or the required deposit) has been received.
3. You have received a written booking confirmation from us or our supplier partner.

Payment methods and deposit requirements vary by supplier and will be confirmed at the time of booking. Prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) unless stated otherwise.

6. Pricing and Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of prices displayed on our website and in quotes. However:

• Airfares are set by airlines and are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed and ticketed.
• Prices may change between the time of your enquiry and the time of booking due to fare availability, currency fluctuations, or changes in taxes and surcharges.
• If a price increases before you confirm your booking, we will inform you and you are under no obligation to proceed.
• If we discover a pricing error after a booking has been confirmed, we will contact you to offer the correct price or a full refund.

7. Travel Documents and Passenger Responsibility

It is your responsibility to ensure that:

• All passenger names exactly match those on valid passports at the time of travel.
• You hold valid passports with at least 6 months’ validity beyond your return date (requirements vary by destination).
• You have obtained all necessary visas, transit permits, and entry requirements for your destination and any transit countries.
• You meet all health requirements, including vaccinations, as required by your destination.
• You arrive at the airport with sufficient time before departure as stipulated by the airline.

We are not liable for any costs, losses, or denied boarding resulting from incorrect documentation, expired passports, missing visas, or failure to comply with entry requirements.

8. Changes and Cancellations

Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details on cancellations, changes, and refunds. In summary:

• Cancellation and change fees are determined by the airline or supplier.
• We do not charge our own cancellation administration fee.
• Non-refundable tickets cannot be refunded regardless of the reason for cancellation.

9. ATOL Protection

Flights and flight-inclusive holidays arranged through Affordable Airfares UK are financially protected via our licensed ATOL supplier partners. This means that in the unlikely event of a supplier’s insolvency, your booking is protected under the ATOL scheme administered by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Affordable Airfares UK does not hold an ATOL licence directly. Protection is provided through the ATOL licence of the supplier partner that operates or organises your booking. The relevant ATOL number will be provided on your booking confirmation.

10. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical expenses, lost baggage, and other unforeseen events. We do not provide travel insurance and are not liable for losses that would have been covered by an appropriate insurance policy.

11. Our Liability

Our liability is limited as follows:

• We are not liable for the performance or non-performance of flights, accommodation, or other services provided by airlines or suppliers.
• We are not liable for delays, cancellations, overbooking, strikes, weather events, or any circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).
• We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, missed connections, or additional accommodation costs.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from our services as agent shall not exceed the commission earned on the relevant booking.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

If you have a complaint about our service:

2. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
3. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 working days.

If your complaint relates to the flight or accommodation itself, you may also need to contact the airline or supplier directly, as they are the provider of the service.

All content on the Affordable Airfares UK website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Affordable Airfares UK and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

14. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites.

15. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Bookings made before a change are governed by the terms in effect at the time of booking.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
