1. Service Description

Affordable Airfares UK is a flight enquiry and booking service specialising in flights from the UK to Africa. We are based at 9 Lime Street, Walsall, WS1 2JL.

We act as an intermediary between customers and our licensed ATOL supplier partners. We are not a direct airline, a direct ATOL holder, or a package holiday operator. All flights are arranged and financially protected via our licensed ATOL supplier partners.

By using our website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Enquiry Process

Submitting an enquiry through our website is not a booking and does not create any financial commitment on your part. An enquiry is a request for us to research and provide you with a flight quote.

• Enquiries are free of charge and carry no obligation to proceed.
• We will respond to your enquiry by phone or email, typically within 2 business hours during operating hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–7pm).
• Quotes provided are subject to flight availability at the time of quoting. Prices may change between the time of your enquiry and the time of booking confirmation.
• We reserve the right to decline any enquiry or booking request at our discretion.

3. Booking Confirmation

A flight booking is only confirmed when all of the following conditions are met:

1. Full payment, or an agreed deposit, has been received and cleared by us or our supplier partner.
2. A booking confirmation and ATOL Certificate (where applicable) has been issued by the relevant ATOL supplier partner.
3. You have received written confirmation of the booking from us.

Until all three conditions are satisfied, no binding contract exists for a flight booking. Verbal confirmations or quotes do not constitute a booking.

4. Pricing

Any prices displayed on this website are indicative starting prices for economy class seats and are subject to availability. They are not guaranteed fares.

• Final prices are confirmed at the time of booking and include all applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges unless otherwise stated.
• Prices may fluctuate due to airline inventory changes, fuel surcharges, tax changes, or currency movements.
• Prices shown for premium economy or business class are subject to separate quotation.
• We will always confirm the total price — including all fees — before asking you to make any payment.

Prices are subject to availability and may change without notice until a booking is confirmed and payment received.

5. Payment Terms

Payment arrangements are agreed on a per-booking basis. We accept bank transfer and card payments. The following general terms apply:

• A deposit may be required to secure the fare at the time of booking. The balance becomes due as agreed with us — typically no later than 12 weeks before departure.
• Failure to pay the balance by the agreed due date may result in the booking being cancelled and the deposit being forfeited.
• Payment instructions will be provided in writing. Do not make any payment without receiving written confirmation from us first.
• We will never request payment via unofficial channels (e.g. cryptocurrency, unverified payment links). If in doubt, contact us directly.

6. Liability

Affordable Airfares UK acts as an intermediary between customers and our licensed ATOL supplier partners. The following limitations apply to our liability:

• We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of airlines, airports, ground handling agents, or other service providers involved in your travel.
• The ATOL supplier partner through whom your booking is made is responsible for the operation and financial protection of your flight booking.
• We are not liable for any loss, delay, disruption, or disappointment caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, industrial action, or political unrest.
• Our liability for any booking arranged through us shall not exceed the total price paid for that booking.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. ATOL Protection

Flights and flight-inclusive holidays booked through Affordable Airfares UK are financially protected via our licensed ATOL supplier partners.

When you book a flight or flight-inclusive holiday, you will receive an ATOL Certificate from the relevant ATOL holder (our supplier partner). This certificate provides protection in the event that the ATOL holder becomes insolvent before or during your trip.

Not all flight bookings are ATOL protected. We will clearly confirm whether ATOL protection applies to your specific booking before you complete payment.

8. Cancellation

Cancellation terms for any confirmed booking are determined by the ATOL supplier partner and/or the airline for that booking. General principles:

• To cancel a booking, contact us at info@affordableairfaresuk.co.uk or call 02039322620 as soon as possible.
• Cancellation fees are typically charged by the airline or supplier and increase the closer to departure the cancellation is made.
• Some promotional or discounted fares are non-refundable from the point of booking. This will be communicated clearly before payment.
• Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the fare rules of the booking.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute regarding our services, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve it:

We will acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 14 days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer it to:

• The relevant Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme associated with your booking's ATOL supplier partner.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
