Visa & Entry Handled For You

UK passport holders can perform Umrah, and we handle your Saudi visa application as part of the package. Entry routes are set by the Saudi authorities and can change, so we always apply on your behalf using the route current at the time of your booking — no government portals to navigate yourself.

Currency & Payments

Saudi Arabia uses the Saudi Riyal (SAR). Cards are widely accepted in hotels, malls, and supermarkets, but carrying cash is recommended for local taxi rides, small vendor stalls, and tipping. ATM facilities are widely available around the Haram boundaries.

Health & Packing

Our 4★ Makkah hotels are typically within around 150–200 metres of Masjid al-Haram, versus roughly 450–600 metres at 3★. That shorter walk — and the easier access it gives to prayer times — is the main reason pilgrims choose to upgrade, particularly when travelling with older family members.
Why is 4★ a good choice for older travellers?
The shorter walks to the Haram, more spacious rooms and lifts, and generally calmer hotel environment make 4★ the comfortable middle ground. It is our most recommended tier for pilgrims who want to conserve energy for worship without stepping all the way up to 5★ pricing.
What extra comfort do I get over the 3★ tier?
Beyond the closer location, 4★ hotels such as Emaar Grand, Le Méridien Towers and Saja Al Madinah tend to offer larger rooms, more dining outlets, better lift access and on-site amenities — and our 4★ packages include daily breakfast. Yes — our 4★ packages are on a Bed & Breakfast basis, so daily breakfast is included at both your Makkah and Madinah hotels. For lunch and dinner you have the flexibility to dine at the many restaurants around the Haram, and we can add half-board or full-board to your quote on request.
