What to Expect During Ramadan
Weather
Ramadan 2027 falls approximately in February–March. Expect mild to warm days (20–30°C) and cooler evenings — comfortable for walking and worship.
Crowds
Ramadan is one of the busiest times at the Holy Mosques. Arrive early for Taraweeh prayers and expect larger crowds, especially during the last 10 nights.
Prayer Times
Prayer times shift throughout Ramadan. Our team can provide a prayer time schedule for your travel dates so you can plan your worship around Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha.
Dress Code
Modest clothing is required at all times in the Holy Cities. Lightweight, breathable fabrics are recommended for comfort during long days of worship.
Ziyarat (Guided Tours)

Visit Jabal al-Nour (Cave of Hira), Jabal Thawr, Al-Mu‘alla Cemetery, and the historic plains of Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat. Available as an optional add-on.
Madinah Ziyarat
Visit Quba Mosque, Masjid al-Qiblatain, Mount Uhud and Jannat al-Baqi. The Prophet’s ﺠ mosque and the blessed Rawdah are highlights of any Madinah stay.

What to Pack
Lightweight modest clothing, comfortable walking shoes for Tawaf, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a small prayer mat. Don’t forget your passport and visa documents.
Health & Safety
Stay hydrated during long days of fasting and worship. Carry snacks for Iftar if needed. Ensure your meningitis ACWY vaccine is up to date — standard for pilgrims.
Currency
Saudi Arabia uses the Saudi Riyal (SAR). Cards are widely accepted but carry cash for small vendors, taxi rides and tipping around the Haram.
